We are a society of botanical artists who share a love of the plant world. Our goal is to portray botanical subjects with accuracy and artistry within the traditional fine arts of 
drawing, painting and printmaking.

HISTORY OF THE OTTAWA SOCIETY OF BOTANICAL ARTISTS

OUR MISSION

• To promote and encourage the development of botanical art in the Ottawa region with sharing and mentorship.
• To arrange annual exhibitions for members

MEMBER BENEFITS

• Four meetings per year give members a chance to converse, share and view art work by their colleagues. Meetings are scheduled for the 2nd Monday of April, June, September and November. 
• Guest speaker featured at each meeting. 
• OSBA Sketch Club meets weekly at the Fletcher Wildlife Garden or the Ornamental Gardens at the Experimental Farm, to sketch outdoors from late spring to early fall. 
• OSBA Exhibition Opportunities. All members are welcome to exhibit.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

• A membership fee of $25 per year that takes in from January to December. 
• This fee can paid in person by cash or cheque at our meetings. 
• Cheques are payable to The Ottawa Society of Botanical Artists.

Fees:

Membership of OSBA shall consist of Members at large and the Executive, which shall consist of at least five and not more than nine Members.
